Marshal of Starkhafn

My job, as Territorial Marshal, is to help the fighter, and train other marshals to help the fighters. We are here to help the fighting, help the fighters to keep safe, and allow the spectators to safely watch the fighting.

Marshals do this by suggesting and guiding the fighters to make the choice to be safe by wearing the proper armor, being aware of their surroundings, and being very aware of the spectators. Marshals are not here to be the authority figure to tell fighters how to fight, or how to wear their armor, or to call the blows, or to tell them what rules they are breaking. We are there, exclusively, to help with the fighting and keeping them, the populace, and us safe.
