Contacts / Officers / Regnum Our Gentle and Noble Society is empowered by a key group of volunteers who serve as our Officers and provide the vital services that allow us to live The Dream. All officers are responsible for making monthly reports on activities relating to their office. Copies of these reports must go to the group Seneschal, Chronicler and the Kingdom officer who is responsible for overseeing that position, e.g. the Barony Exchequer to the Kingdom Exchequer. Administration Seneschal The Seneschal is the chief administrative officer and legal representative of any SCA group, and generally responsible for coordinating the activities of the group's other officers. Other Officers Exchequer The Exchequer is the treasurer for the group. The officer who keeps track of Baronial funds. This position is sometimes called Reeve. Chronicler The Chronicler is in charge of a group's newsletter, The Baronial Banner. Click to E-mail Baronial Banner submissions and officer reports. Webwright The Webwright is responsible for the official webpage for the Barony as well as the group's e-mail list and other digital means of communication. This position is sometimes called Webminister. Hospitaller Avant Courier Constable The Constable is in charge of security issues at events. This position is sometimes called Sheriff. Archivist Chirurgeon The Chirurgeon provides first aid on a volunteer basis at SCA events. Court Baron Baroness Chamberlain Castellan Regalia Herald The Herald is in charge of the development and registration of names and devices, and for making announcements at Court and elsewhere at events. Marshal Arts & Other Activites Marshal The Marshal trains new armoured (a.k.a. "heavy") fighters, supervises local fighter practices and official fighting at group events. This person is also the local safety officer for this activity. Thrown Weapons Equestrian Marshal The Equestrian Marshal is responsible for all things horsey in the Barony. This person is also the local safety officer for this activity. Rapier Marshal The Rapier Marshal trains new Rapier (a.k.a "light") fighters, supervises local fighter practices and official fighting at group events. This person is also the local safety officer for this activity. Lystes Minister The Minister/Mistress of Lystes (MoL) keeps track of the order and results of SCA combat. Arts & Sciences The Minister/Mistress of Arts & Sciences (MoAS) coordinates the Shire Arts and Sciences meetings/activities. Youth Activities The Youth Activities coordinator organizes activities and instruction for children in the SCA. It is NOT a babysitting service where parents can foist their children on others while they go play. This position is sometimes called Minister/Mistress of Children (MoC).
